Hi, I'm Jim Harkins EMAIL:jimharkins@charter.net or CALL: 860.742.5959 I now teach out of 'Studio 280' at my home in Coventry,CT. It's good sized, comfortable year-round, and used for rehearsing, teaching and recording. Throughout many years of teaching, I've written and studied many studies,techniques, handouts and styles for Acoustic or Electric guitar. I can transcribe guitar passages, chord charts using TAB or NOTES in a matter of minutes. This means more time dedicated to teaching. I'm eager to coach you positively and open mindedly in just about any music style you want to improve on. After all playing, teaching and instrument repair is my life. Learn to read if you want. Improve your ear and strengthen your guitar techniques. I enjoy jamming. Take home our session on CD. Beginners through Advanced are welcome. RATES: $40 per hour.
